Job Overview

A law firm seeks a skilled Probate Litigation Attorney in Fort Worth, TX. This role is ideal for an attorney with a strong courtroom presence and expertise in probate, estate planning, and guardianship matters. The position offers the opportunity to lead significant cases with comprehensive support from the firm's administrative and marketing teams.

Duties

Drive high-stakes litigation from intake to final judgment, including contested divorces and protective orders.
Lead probate litigation matters such as contested guardianships and trust disputes.
Conduct trials, hearings, mediations, and depositions with confidence.
Develop and execute sophisticated litigation tactics and negotiation strategies.
Provide compassionate representation to clients during challenging times.
Manage a diverse caseload across multiple office locations.
Supervise paralegals and support staff to ensure precision in legal documents.

Requirements

Active membership in the Texas State Bar with a minimum of 2 years licensed.
5+ years of experience in estate planning, probate, and guardianship litigation.
Proven success in the courtroom and a fearless approach to litigation.
Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Proficient in Clio, TxDoc, Google Suite, and modern e-filing systems.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel between office locations.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong plus.

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Skills

Strong courtroom presence and litigation skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in legal technology and e-filing systems.
Ability to manage and supervise legal staff effectively.
