BOH Supervisor

Position Overview Full‑time BOH Supervisor. Requires a high school degree and $14.00 – $16.00 per hour. The supervisor works closely with the Chef de Cuisine to manage the back‑of‑house area, ensuring efficient service and maintaining cleanliness standards. Duties & Responsibilities Ensure consistency of all products representing the Common Bond brand. Work with the FOH to assist with customer relations. Maintain kitchen and serving areas to a high standard of cleanliness. Use equipment safely and according to proper procedures. Prioritize daily items. Inform a manager of supplies that need to be requisitioned. Ensure smooth, safe kitchen operations. Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides. Notify Chef de Cuisine of any foreseeable shortages. Maintain storage procedures per Health Department and Common Bond requirements. Minimize waste and maintain a sanitary environment. Assist with receiving, rotating raw ingredients and back‑stock levels. Train staff to standard performance levels. Have knowledge of all kitchen production. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Maintain the standard of a professional restaurant image, including kitchen cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards. Food Manager’s certification where required by local and state health code regulations. Must be able to work an 8‑hour shift standing up. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Creativity, culinary aptitude, and passion for food. Ability to learn quickly. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions, and request clarification if needed. Ability to work as part of a team and cultivate teamwork culture. Ability to build and maintain relationships. Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. Able to lead and mentor a team. Reports to: Corporate Executive Chef FLSA Status: Hourly / Non‑exempt Work Schedule 8‑hour shifts. Availability on weekends, weekdays (Monday–Friday), holidays, day shifts and night shifts.
