While the role involves independent work, you will engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team through virtual meetings and continuous training. Our outpatient office structure facilitates direct client interactions at a convenient pace, ensuring a nurturing therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Serve as the primary contact for families, ensuring open lines of communication and support throughout the therapeutic process.
\n
• Facilitate comprehensive individual, family, and group therapy sessions in alignment with the Newport Healthcare’s clinical model and the Attachment-Based Family Therapy framework.
\n
• Conduct Family Orientations and Welcome Presentations to educate families about the therapy process and address their questions and concerns.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, contact logs, and discharge summaries, adhering to our rigorous standards.
\n
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems and various digital tools (including Microsoft Word and Outlook) to enter and manage patient data efficiently.
\n
• Participate in weekly treatment team meetings, clinical supervision, and staff meetings to discuss client progress and treatment strategies.
\n
• Represent our organization at training sessions, conferences, and professional meetings as required.
\n
• Independently manage your schedule to meet clinical needs while effectively achieving therapy goals and completing assigned tasks.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on adolescents and young adults facing various challenges, including mental health issues, substance abuse, and trauma. You will be a critical part of their journey towards sustainable healing and personal growth, fostering meaningful connections that empower clients and their families.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• Licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist is required, including being board registered or a Psycho-Associate in the respective state.
\n
• Demonstrated competency in individual, group, or family therapy, particularly with adolescents and young adults.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in addressing mental health disorders, substance abuse issues, eating disorders, or trauma-informed care, is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic methods and practices will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
