Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 10-week contract position with a firm end date.

Schedule

Shifts consist of 4 x 12-hour night shifts per week, totaling 48 hours. Please note that weekend shifts are required every other weekend, and 12-hour on-call duties will occur every three weeks.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse with experience in high-risk births and telemetry. The candidate must be proficient in circulating c-sections and providing comprehensive care during labor and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal well-being.
• Assist in high-risk births and utilize telemetry effectively.
• Circulate and assist in c-sections.
• Respond to on-call requirements and ensure timely arrival within 1 hour when called in.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license required.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery, including high-risk births and telemetry.
• Proven ability to circulate c-sections.
