Outside Sales Account Manager

Imagine being directly responsible for helping the nation grow, to BUILD. Rockland Manufacturing, a well-known, respected, family-owned construction equipment manufacturer with an excellent reputation for quality and on-time shipments, is looking for an Account Manager in the Raleigh area.
This is an established position covering heavy equipment dealer accounts in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, South Carolina, and North Carolina. Our Account Managers are home based and spend 3-4 nights per week on the road visiting customers. This team puts a lot of value in activity and hustle! You'll work with heavy equipment distribution (Dealers) to service the industry by:
- Retaining, managing, and growing the existing customer base
- Building relationships with key decision makers to create partnerships
- Understanding their business beyond a product level
- Cross-selling and creating multi product solution opportunities
- Selling value through intangibles and services
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years outside sales experience
- Exceptional communication skills
- Experience in B2B Sales
- Motivated by your own goals and uncapped high earning potential
- Able to work with minimal direct supervision
- Knowledge of construction equipment/mechanical aptitude is a plus
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive base salary with uncapped commission

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience
- Strong ability to build relationships quickly
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong time management, organization, and planning skills
- High level of hustle, activity, and personal accountability
- Ability to execute a plan with minimal direct supervision
- Comfortable with significant (75%) overnight travel
- CRM experience and strong attention to detail
- Microsoft Office skills
- Valid driver's license required
Preferred Experience:
- B2B sales experience
- Construction equipment, heavy equipment, or mechanical aptitude
- Experience selling through dealers, distributors, or branch-based organizations
- Epicor CRM experience
