As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Services in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Our Security Officers monitor and patrol a busy food and beverage location, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to support access activity, complete routine patrols, and respond to site needs with agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity as part of Allied Universal’s caring culture.

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe site activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, support visitor processing, and follow location protocols for deliveries, pickups, and/or contractor access.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
