Aquarium & Aviary Service Representative

Overview We are a rapidly growing aquarium and aviary service company serving nursing homes and businesses. The role focuses on servicing aquariums and aviaries in client locations. This is an entry level position requiring basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly, with heavy lifting, bending, and other physical demands. This is a part-time role. Work is aligned with client business hours and bi-weekly servicing occurs before or after hours. Typical weekly schedule (example): Monday | 2–7 PM Tuesday | 11 AM–7 PM Wednesday | 11 AM–7 PM Thursday | 11 AM–7 PM Friday | 11 AM–5 PM Saturday | 10 AM–2 PM Sunday | Closed Travel within a 150 mile radius of San Antonio, TX will be required. Currently no accounts that far. Servicing 3 large aquariums and an aviary in the San Antonio area (Leon Valley/Alamo Heights). Mileage reimbursement is paid while driving; hourly wage is not paid during driving. Responsibilities Well organized with excellent time management skills Professional appearance with excellent communication skills Effectively communicate company products and services Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks Inner drive and desire to exceed goals Respond to calls, emails, faxes to take care of customer needs Able to create an efficient work schedule Manage service cycle for the customer base Qualifications Experience in fish keeping and/or bird keeping preferred Great attitude and willingness to learn Ability to adjust priorities to match business needs Strong work ethic with punctuality and good attendance Ability to communicate and contribute in a team-oriented environment Ability to comprehend and follow instructions; read and write in English Mechanical aptitude preferred Willingness to be flexible with schedule and responsibilities Able to travel within service area radius Heavy lifting and maneuvering required Flexibility is a must High school education preferred Driver’s license required Job Type, Compensation and Additional Details Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 8-10 hours bi-weekly; will vary week to week.
