Volt is immediately hiring for Utility Worker III at Delaware Water Gap, PA 18327.

As a Utility Worker III, you will:

·       Participates in the safety program and works to exceed all safety standards and requirements mandated by the plant and OSHA.

·       Maintain general housekeeping around mill, including but not limited to dumping hoppers/trash, cleaning floors / walls, general cleanliness of mill.

·       Assist with Housekeeping Audit action items as directed by area owner.

·       Assist with general duties in dry end / wet end as required, which may include use of overhead crane to move rolls, cutting of cores, slabbing rolls, and banding slabs to prepare for transport to trailer.

·       Use forklift as required to move broke, supplies, etc.

·       Keeping supplies stocked in areas throughout Mill.

·       Knowledge and understanding of Mill training system, policies, and processes. Other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have:

·       High school diploma or GED required.

·       Heavy Industrial experience.

·       Experiences in using tools/equipment such as forklift, simple hand tools, clamp truck, yard tractor, banding machine, utility knife, roll pusher.

Schedule: 1st Shift: 7 am – 3 pm
2nd Shift: 3 pm – 11 pm
3rd Shift: 11 pm – 7 am

Location - Delaware Water Gap, PA 18327

Pay rate range between - $22 - $24/hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
