Protecting your information and ensuring a secure recruitment process are our top priorities.Perks & Benefits of HR Consultants Include:Competitive CompensationHybrid Position in Greater Boston: Challenging, exciting consulting work without the overnight or long-distance travelGenerous paid time off (unlimited after two years of service)Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Short, and Long Term Disability InsuranceCompany HolidaysTuition Reimbursement401K with company matchingAffinity GroupsWhat You'll Do as an HR Consultant:Often working as an embedded part of the client's organization, serve as the primary Human Resources resource for clients and leadership, becoming the part-time HR Department for several clients in various industriesWorking as part of a service delivery team that includes recruiting and HR administrative support, you will provide HR services and serve as a resource to client management on all employment matters, being flexible and practical when addressing issues, with an understanding that one of our primary roles is to reduce client risk and exposure to matters related to employment practicesAssisting with routine and complex employee relations/performance issuesGuiding on non-standard matters, including diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, reorganization, policy creation, and leadership mentoringPerforming routine HR management duties, including benefits oversight, handbook development and updates, and job description creationEnhancing and updating policies and procedures in accordance with labor laws, best practices, and cultural inclusion, while proactively identifying instances of noncompliance with labor lawsDesigning and coordinating new employee onboarding and exit meetings, mitigating employment issues, lay-offs/terminations, equity audits, and compliance to offer advice to clients on all HR-related functionsParticipating in HR Assessments of new clients and working with the team to launch new clientsWhat We're Looking For in an HR Consultant:Bachelor 's degree required; higher-level degree preferredExperience in Biotech, Startups, For-profit, and shares/options preferredA minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience with increasing levels of autonomy and proactive engagement with the workExperience working in small to mid-sized companies, from startups to 150 employeesDemonstrated effectiveness in engaging with clients in a highly professional and service-oriented manner; serves as an effective ambassador of Insource HR at client sitesDemonstrated professional judgment skills and a positive, inclusive, interactive styleExperience explaining and presenting HR information and practices to current and prospective clients clearly and with gravitasConversant in Federal and Massachusetts employment regulations; proactive in problem-solving and accessing additional resources as necessaryAt Insource, we appreciate the value and richness of different perspectives and experiences.
