SVP Media Planning And StrategyServing as the overall client lead, the SVP will direct planning and strategy for a large brand. Comprehensive media knowledge, thought-leadership, and strategic marketing expertise will be essential to the continuous advancement of our client's business. Responsible for generating strategic media initiatives and leading all aspects of media planning for key client account.Responsibilities:Responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategy to define the future direction of Client businessActively listen to Clients and continually identify opportunities to lead thinkingTeam leader for Client interaction fostering positive relationshipsIdentifies key target insights based on Client brief necessary for formulating communication strategyEvaluates composition of a wide range of media vehicles to determine which would most effectively reach the target audienceEffectively communicates and solicits agreement of best opportunities for ClientEnsure the quality of work for all Client deliverablesServes as key resource for local markets in defining media strategy and media plansSupervising, training, and developing staff (managing workload, delegating, and managing projects and resources, performance management)Develop process improvements and best practices to ensure consistency, flexibility, and efficiency resulting in solutions that meet or exceed Client expectationsServes as leadership and content development coordinator for all Client presentationsAbility to cross sell interagency products and servicesCollaborate with business intelligence/analytics, data and investment teams to identify consumer learning needs and drive consumer insight generation, analysis/interpretationQualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in advertising, marketing, business, psychology, or similar area preferred12+ years of experience including extensive client and team management experienceCompelling communicator with strong executive presenceAbility to make decisions in a fast-paced environment (has a POV)Recognized for forging strong relationshipsWith clients: trusted advisor and confidantWith internal & IAT teams: works well with peers in a strong leadership team and empowers direct reports through their leadershipHas strong media background to be able to speak to changing dynamics in the landscape - experience can come from either planning or investment, but ideally has more recent strategic experienceExperience in providing a vision and driving for continued improvement in work (testing & learning vs. tied to tried & true)Ideally has had exposure to data-driven targeting strategyAdditional Information:Starcom is an Equal Opportunity Employer. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
