Carthage Area Hospital LABORATORY Carthage, NY Allied Health Professional Full Time, various, variable Posted 09/25/2026 Req # 9806 Medical Technologist | Lab | Full-Time Evening Shift Internal Posting Dates: September 25, 2026-September 30, 2026 Requisition: 9806 Pay Range: $41.24 – $49.53 / hour Sign-On Bonus: Eligible Primary Shift: 12p-12a PM (varying shifts as needed) Role Overview Join our laboratory team responsible for the precise performance and timely reporting of lab procedures. You will maintain equipment and records, assist in researching new methodologies, and uphold the highest standards of safety and cleanliness. This role includes training employees and performing phlebotomy for inpatients and outpatients as required. Shift Differentials Evening (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM): Additional $5.00/hour (min. 4 hours worked). Night (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM): Additional $6.00/hour (min. 4 hours worked). Qualifications Licensure: Must meet New York State Department of Health code requirements for Medical Technologists. Certification: ASCP MT registry (or equivalent) preferred. Expertise: Knowledge of age-specific needs for patient populations ranging from infant to geriatric. Soft Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills with a personal drive for excellence and a willingness to help others. The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
