FOH Restaurant Manager

Position SummaryThe Front of House Manager is responsible for overseeing all guest-facing operations to ensure exceptional service, efficient staff performance, and a welcoming atmosphere. This role leads FOH staff, manages daily service execution, and acts as the primary liaison between guests, staff, and ownership/upper management.Key ResponsibilitiesGuest ExperienceDeliver outstanding hospitality and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction at all timesResolve guest concerns promptly and professionallyMaintain service standards, ambiance, cleanliness, and brand presentationMonitor guest flow, wait times, and table/bar turnsStaff Leadership & SupervisionHire, train, schedule, and supervise FOH staff (servers, bartenders, hosts, runners, bussers)Lead pre-shift meetings and ongoing service coachingEnforce company policies, appearance standards, and service expectationsHandle employee performance issues, write-ups, and corrective actions when neededOperations & Service ExecutionOversee daily opening, shift execution, and closing proceduresEnsure proper staffing levels based on business volumeCoordinate with BOH to ensure smooth service and communicationMonitor POS usage, cash handling, and tab policiesEnsure compliance with alcohol service laws and company proceduresScheduling & Labor ManagementCreate and manage FOH schedules within labor targetsAdjust staffing in real time based on business needsApprove shift swaps, time-off requests, and attendance trackingFinancial & Administrative DutiesMonitor sales performance, comps, voids, and discountsEnsure accurate cashouts, tip reporting, and end-of-day proceduresAssist with inventory oversight for bar and FOH suppliesSupport management with reporting, audits, and operational reviewsSafety & ComplianceEnforce health, safety, and sanitation standardsEnsure responsible alcohol service and compliance with local regulationsMinimum 2–3 years of FOH management experience in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality settingStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentKnowledge of POS systems, scheduling software, and labor controlsExcellent problem-solving and guest recovery skillsFlexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr Cocos Crush Bar North Beach Llc
