Busser (Food Services) General Purpose of the Job: Facilitate food service. Clean tables, remove dirty dishes, set tables; replenish supply of clean silverware, glassware, and dishes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clean up spilled food or drink or broken dishes and remove empty bottles and trash. Wipe tables or seats with dampened cloths. Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning. Fill beverage or ice dispensers. Ensure cleanliness of the dining rooms and other areas. Ensure cleanliness of dinnerware. Serve beverages, water and other drinks. Set up dining tables as requested. Stack and un-stack chairs and put tables in order. Set up and maintain the Expo area and bussing stations. Follow the cleaning calendar. Clean the restrooms and ensure they are maintained and stocked. Check restrooms every 30 minutes to ensure cleanliness during peak hours. Clean the back dock area and keep it organized. Clean and maintain the chemical area and keep it organized. Interact and coordinate with hosts and service staff to ensure effective service. Maintain best practices in maintaining cleanliness in bussing services. Requirements Special Skills or knowledge necessary for this position. Basic mathematical skills, handle money and give correct change. Basic reading skills. Basic computer skills. Excellent communication skills. Organizational skills. Multi-task oriented. Knowledge of Gas Monkey Icehouses food & beverage specifications. Knowledge of workplace safety procedures. Licenses certification, or registrations required for the position. State applicable health and/or alcohol compliance card.
