About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP/Director of Social Commerce to lead the execution and performance of social commerce programs, with a focus on TikTok Shop. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating strategic initiatives into action, ensuring the efficient running of programs, and meeting engagement, conversion, and sales objectives. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including strategy, media, analytics, and creator teams, to activate, optimize, and scale social commerce initiatives. The VP/Director will also be instrumental in helping clients navigate the dynamic social commerce landscape, developing scalable strategies, and identifying growth opportunities. Applicants should have a minimum of 8 years' experience in social commerce, influence, e-commerce, digital media, or related fields, with a strong understanding of the social commerce ecosystem, particularly TikTok Shop. The role requires a candidate with a background in an agency, holding company, platform, or a highly matrixed organization, and a proven track record in project management, organizational skills, and the ability to build strong relationships. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities also include managing client relationships, overseeing cross-functional execution, and building client-facing materials. A passion for social commerce, creator economy trends, and emerging platforms is essential, as is the ability to interpret performance data and provide actionable insights.
