About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP, Commerce Media to lead and coordinate all Retail Media activities for a major client. The successful candidate will be a seasoned media expert with a focus on developing top-tier media strategies and plans for CPG brands within key Retail Media Networks. This role requires a professional who can seamlessly integrate with the client's National Media team and agency to create cohesive, full-funnel media programs. The VP will be the primary contact for the client's central Digital Commerce team, providing thought leadership, and driving the client's business impact. A key aspect of the role is to act as a change agent, both internally and externally, and to ensure the scalability and consistency of media strategies across different retailers. Applicants for the VP, Commerce Media position at the company should have a strong background in commerce media strategy, with a preference for those with over 12 years' experience. A deep understanding of CPG and retailer relationships, including Joint Business Planning and Channel and Category Strategies, is essential. The role demands a collaborative, dynamic, and strategic thinker with a proven track record of managing client budgets and expanding business through the identification of new opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a confident presenter, a clear communicator, and possess the ability to make sound decisions based on industry knowledge. A passion for continuous improvement and the ability to analyze data to provide actionable recommendations are also key skillsets for this role.
