Job Description
Title: Acute Hemodialysis RN - Acute Hemodialysis

Schedule: 12-hour days, 36 hours/week (self-scheduled); Every other weekend required

Assignment Details: Daily census ~16; Unit size/census: Acute HD room - 9 stations + 1 isolation

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience
- Required within 1 year: acute hemodialysis experience on Fresenius equipment and peritoneal dialysis experience with Baxter equipment
- Required: BLS
- Preferred: ACLS and CDN or CNN
- Charting experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide acute inpatient hemodialysis care using Fresenius equipment.
- Administer peritoneal dialysis, including CAPD/CCPD as applicable.
- Manage patients on ventilators and titratable IV drips during bedside ICU/PCU dialysis.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation: 24 hours (12 hours ICU/offsite + 12 hours dialysis room/PD)
- RTO after booking is restricted; up to 7 days auto-approved RTO (no holidays); must work 2 of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week
- Candidate must complete lab/testing within 48 hours of signing
- Required online modules must be completed pre-start
- Former employees and certain statuses may have restrictions-disclose during submission
