D365 Change Manager

A multi-division industrial equipment and services business — is midway through a multi-year Microsoft Dynamics 365 transformation, and is hiring a D365 Change Manager to lead the people side of that journey. The hiring leader describes this as potentially the most important role on the team : the person who makes sure new technology actually lands with the people who use it every day. This is not a role that disappears at go-live. As the business rewrites its operating playbooks segment by segment, starting with ERP and extending into distribution, this is a permanent, embedded role at the heart of how the organisation evolves. What you’ll do Lead change management for the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (ERP) programme — your permanent priority. Other initiatives may flex around your capacity, but ERP change is always yours. Support change across the wider Dynamics 365 estate, including the CRM / Customer Engagement (CE) build and the service centre implementation. Own frontline change communications — clear, credible messaging that reaches the people doing the work, not just management. Run people-first discovery: sit with end users to understand their day, their priorities and their frustrations — and revisit those same questions once the change lands. Cut through competing opinions and organisational noise to keep the focus on adoption and real‑world impact. Build rapid credibility with hands‑on, operational teams — people who can spot instantly when someone hasn’t done the homework. Over time, partner with every business segment to document and redesign how they work, extending into distribution, e‑commerce and beyond. What you’ll bring A genuine, people‑first motivation, you’re in it for the impact on employees, not the politics. A discovery‑led approach — you ask the questions that matter (“What’s the biggest thing this person has to conquer today? What does success look like for them? What’s their biggest frustration?”) and go back to ask them again after the change. Insatiable curiosity, you dive into unfamiliar environments, ask, listen and learn fast. The ability to win the ear and trust of frontline teams, even those with strong personalities and firm opinions. Strong, plain‑spoken communication that resonates on the shop floor as much as in the boardroom. Self‑sufficiency and pace, you can absorb a large volume of context quickly, organise yourself and get productive without hand‑holding. Microsoft Dynamics 365 change experience — ideally D365 Finance & Operations (ERP); CRM / CE exposure is a plus. Experience supporting ERP or large enterprise‑system rollouts in an operational or industrial setting is highly valued. We are ready to move quickly, the sooner the better.
