Integrity Staffing has exciting new opportunities for Shipyard Welders in the Houston, TX area! Role & Responsibilities Must be familiar with welding on a Miller Machine Weldstainless steelbarge & boat repair areas, internal compartments & cargo tanks, external surface areas, and specialty components &areas with the required number of passes to achieve full penetration welds. Grind barge & boat repair areas, internal compartments & cargo tanks, and external surface areas in preparation for welding Operate welding & grinding equipment(ex. MillerMachine), blowers, hoses, etc., to accomplish weld & repair duties Walking, stepping, climbing, or otherwise moving from one location on the job site to another, which may be of varying heights and access parameters. Lifting objects of a minimum of 10lbs, with a maximum single-person lift limit of 50lbs, with frequent lifting and carrying. Qualifications & Education Requirements Must pass a3G/4Gwelding test to obtaininternal skill classification. Must have experience with SMAW(Stick)and FCAW(Flux Core) Ableto work without contact lenses. Must have welding experience using 100% C02 Must have stainless steel welding experience in the Ship Repair industry Schedule Monday-Sunday6am-3:30pm and 3:30pm-12am (midnight) Monday-Sunday5am-2:30pm and 3:00pm-1am Pay $18-23/hour #J-18808-Ljbffr
