Description of Work The Accounting Clerk I is responsible for maintaining financial records, processing fiscal transactions, and ensuring compliance with State of North Carolina accounting policies, Office of the State Controller regulations, and NCDAC fiscal procedures. This position requires accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to work within a secure criminal justice environment. Duties Maintain inventory of office supplies and printer toner to ensure the facility remains operational. Access NCFS, E-Procurement, and Oracle Fusion Warehouse to place and receive orders. Maintain and file received E-Procurement orders. Qualifications High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of accounting methods, procedures, and accounting practices.
