The role is focused on the marketing and execution of Rates products, specifically in support of the risk management needs of Wells Fargo's corporate client base. The position is directly client-facing, and core responsibilities include management of the client onboarding process, idea generation, pitch book creation, the pricing and booking of trades, providing market updates, post-trade follow-up, and interaction with settlements groups.The candidate should have a technical understanding of basic Rates products, including Swaps, Swaptions, and Cross-Currency Swaps, with a willingness to expand their knowledge to additional risk management products in the future. Rates Sales team members partner closely with their counterparts in Rates, as well as with other CIB coverage partners, including Corporate Banking, DCM, Leveraged Finance, and Investment Banking, to cohesively market the bank and are expected to collaborate seamlessly across the platform. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance. Registration for FINRA Series 65 or 66 must be completed prior to conducting Investment Advisory business. Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory. In addition to state registration and licensing requirements, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptance. For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite is required. Successful completion of the National Futures Association (NFA) Swaps Proficiency Requirements within 30 days of hire, unless previously completed and current.This position is subject to Dodd-Frank Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background screen.
