Responsibilities Embed deeply with your assigned business function – attend meetings, map workflows end‑to‑end, learn pain points firsthand, and propose changes. Ask “Should we use AI here at all?” – say no when appropriate, and when yes, choose the right kind of AI. Spot genuinely agent‑shaped parts of a workflow and differentiate from deterministic automation. Translate business problems into clear technical designs – architecture diagrams, data flow maps, integration points, tool selection, and build‑vs‑buy decisions. Design agentic systems deliberately: decompose tasks, define goals, tools, action space, orchestration, planning, memory, escalation, guardrails, and human oversight. Engineer agents for reliability: handle failures, retries, hallucinations, cost and latency budgets, human‑in‑the‑loop checkpoints, and graceful degradation. Build evaluation and observability from day one – define success criteria, evaluation sets, and instrument tracing, logging, and monitoring. Manage stakeholders proactively – translate needs and technical reality, set expectations, surface risks early, and prevent scope creep. Support post‑handoff sustainability so what you build remains operational after you move on. Required Qualifications 6+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years building applied AI/agentic solutions in production. Experience designing, building, and shipping reliable agentic systems to production. Ownership of reliability engineering – failure handling, human‑in‑the‑loop control, guardrails, cost and latency management. Experience building internal platforms, SDKs, or tooling adopted by other teams with good design and documentation. Strong Python skills and deep command of the agentic stack – LangChain/LangGraph, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, OpenAI Agents SDK, or similar; prompt & context engineering, RAG, vector databases, LLM APIs, structured outputs, and integrations. End‑to‑end AI solution delivery – design through working prototype without relying on others. Sound judgment on when to use AI and which type to use. Proven ability to work directly with non‑technical stakeholders and manage expectations. Comfort in ambiguous, early‑stage environments – define problems, prototype quickly, and build long‑term solutions. Strongly Preferred Qualifications Designing multi‑agent systems and coordinating specialized agents. Embedded, consultative, or cross‑functional role experience. Workflow analysis and process mapping experience. Evaluating and observing agent/LLM systems – building eval sets, defining success criteria, and instrumenting tracing, monitoring, and drift detection. Experience in media, entertainment, streaming, or consumer technology – awareness of content workflows, localization pipelines, marketing operations, or rights management. Exposure to AI governance and security review processes and design with constraints from the start. Benefits and Compensation Pay Range: $183,400 – $229,200 USD.
