Accrued time is available for immediate use; prorated first year Position Overview The Oven Operator runs the oven used for the curing process of composite manufacturing, according to Standard Work Instructions. Responsibilities Verify part and documents, interpret the job traveler to determine recipe to complete cure process before loading parts onto the racks, trays, or carts. Meet schedules, time allowances and monitor oven cures frequently to ensure no discrepancies in software program; updating supervisor. Decipher parts and quantity requiring additional probes, wires, fixtures, or thermocouple placement before oven cure process. Remove probes, wires, fixtures, breakout, and clean all parts prior to distributing to the next process. Required Qualifications Advanced math skills. Ability to comprehend written instructions. Possess analytical and problem-solving skills. Education Highschool Diploma or GED Preferred Experience Level II Intermediate Experience 2+ years of hands on experience or training preferred. Related training/education will be considered. Computer Skills Level II Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Working Conditions While performing the typical duties of this job, employees will experience the conditions noted below. PPE is provided to protect employees against physical harm or hazards in the workplace environment. Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels Exposure to hazardous equipment Exposure to contaminants Usually work indoors. These sites may not be temperature controlled Shared workspaces with other employees Requires handling objects of up to 30 lbs. Lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies based on role, shift, and overtime) Required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Required PPE provided by SEKISUI Aerospace based on the employee’s position and exposure. Below are typical PPE used on the production floor. Appropriate PPE must be worn by all employees when on the production floor.
