SUPERVISES:

POSITION CLASSIFICATION: Exempt SUMMARY: Responsible for the overall management and training of the staff, operations and financial results of the branch. Originates and approves consumer loans.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages overall branch operations. Manages branch personnel. Performs normal CSR duties on a daily basis. Provides training to branch staff. Proficiency in new deposit accounts and related services/products offered. Establishes and helps to attain internal performance objectives for branch office business volume, deposits, loan portfolios and quality of reports. Participates in and encourages lending consumer activities directly. Directs financial institution personnel in activities to ensure prompt, accurate and dependable customer service. Opens and closes the branch; maintains and stays abreast of security policies and procedures. Supervises vault operations and procedures. Maintains knowledge of branch policies and procedures with respect to approving checks and overrides. Handles customer problems and complaints; counsels customers with special needs or requests. Participates in activities for generating new business such as events. Supervises preparation and distribution of monthly branch reports (new accounts/loans). Performs annual performance reviews of branch CSRs. Through on-the-job training and attendance in approved classes, gains understanding of any applications of Federal and State laws concerning the purpose, processing, approval and denial of loan requests and negotiable instruments. Develops a strong working knowledge of the consumer state laws and federal regulations. May be assigned additional duties as deemed necessary.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent financial related experience. Two plus years of experience in a financial institution. Good written, verbal and supervisory skills.
