Junior Project Manager

We are hiring for an energetic Junior Project Manager to be the FIRST internal office employee to join our team! We are seeking someone that is new to the office side of construction, but is eager to learn and quickly improve on their skills. As the first office based employee, you will play an integral role in supporting the two owners in their daily tasks. This is an opportunity to join at the ground level and grow faster than you would be able to with a larger company. **This is an Entry Level opportunity, the right candidate will have recently completed an internship in project management, has prior experience delegating tasks or managing others, or has worked in a fast paced role that required multitasking, time management and prioritization. We will provide training, but we are looking for someone that will eventually be completely self sufficient, not afraid to learn new tasks and interested in personal growth.** Experience Must be proficient in using Adobe Products and Microsoft office products including Excel, Word, OneNote, Outlook, Teams, Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Must have some prior construction based knowledge Highschool diploma or equivalent Must be able to pass a drug test, background check and have a clean driving record as you will be driving for job walks and other construction meetings Job Duties Reading plans and conducting onscreen takeoffs Creating project budgets and generating proposals for customers Manage projects during production to ensure the projects are completed within budget Communicate with vendors, clients and sub-contractors Assist in preparing and updating project documentation including but not limited to Submittals, and Requests for information (RFIs). Manage project Schedule of Values Assist in project Completion Tracking documents Assist in budget Tracking for labor, materials, equipment and subcontractors Generate projections and progress reports for all construction activities Maintain electronic and printed files of working documents Read and interpret blue print drawings. Maintain project material trackers based on customer Bill of Materials ( BOM) Schedule job-site visits with our Production Team Make takeoff sheets, determine pricing and create estimates for our specialty project customers Extract details from plans when requested Answer inquiries from customers and other members of the team on the phone and via email Other office duties, projects and tasks as assigned Experience with AutoCAD and Bluebeam preferred Excellent communication skills and excel in a team environment Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel #J-18808-Ljbffr
