Full-Time Building Maintenance Assistant
Join Our Team!
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Full-Time Building Maintenance Assistant to join our dedicated team at our assisted living community. If you enjoy solving problems, working with your hands, and helping create a safe, comfortable environment for seniors, we'd love to hear from you!
Position ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Perform general building maintenance and repairs.
Follow up on and complete maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
Provide handyman services for residents as needed.
Repair minor plumbing, carpentry, and electrical issues.
Complete drywall repairs, patching, and painting.
Properly store and maintain tools, equipment, and chemicals in designated locations.
Assist the Maintenance Team Lead with daily projects and preventative maintenance.
Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the community.
Experience in building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related field preferred.
Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair work.
Experience with drywall repair and painting.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Reliable, dependable, and committed to providing excellent service.
Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies as needed.
