Accounting Manager - Japanese Trading Company (Hybrid)

- Manage accounting team and oversee daily operation
- Communicate with other departments to resolve issues and reconcile subledgers
- Review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze various monthly financial reports
- Prepare quarterly consolidation package
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Ensure timely filing of Sales, Income and Other taxes working with external advisors
- Gather necessary information from subsidiaries and affiliates for group tax filing
- Support year-end audit by preparing various schedules and eliminating journal entries
- Work with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and timely reporting
- Maintain a positive working environment that reflects the company's values
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in accounting
Previous public accounting experience
Minimum 3 years' experience in supervisory role and/or CPA designation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and automated accounting systems
Excellent time and project management skills
