Business Development Manager
Location: Greater Kansas City Metro Compensation: $65,000 - $70,000 Base + Uncapped Commission + Company Car Our client is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager who thrives on prospecting, building relationships, and developing new business. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing office and play a key role in establishing market share while working alongside a collaborative team.
What you'll be doing:
- Develop new business through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing and account retention.
- Analyze territory opportunities and develop strategic plans to grow market share.
- Collaborate with internal business partners and sales leadership
- Represent the company professionally in the field, spending approximately 60% of your time meeting with prospects and clients.
What you'll need:
- Proven business-to-business sales experience, preferably field-based sales.
- Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Valid driver's license.
