\nShe Recruits is partnering with a major regional health system in the Southeast to recruit Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN physicians for a well-established, nationally supported OB Hospitalist program.\n

\nThis is a structured, hospital-based obstetrics model focused on clinical excellence, patient safety, and collaborative physician support.\n
\n
\nThe Opportunity\n
\n
\nAs an OB Hospitalist, you will serve as an in-house clinical expert on Labor & Delivery, ensuring that every patient presenting to the hospital receives consistent, high-quality obstetrical care.\n
\n
\nThis model enhances maternal safety, improves outcomes, and provides meaningful collaboration with community OB physicians and midwives.\n
\n
\nYou will practice high-impact obstetrics without the administrative burden of outpatient management.\n
\n
\nClinical Responsibilities\n
\nProvide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care\n
\nDeliver direct care to high-risk obstetrical patients\n
\nManage obstetrical emergencies independently and confidently\n
\nParticipate in daily Labor & Delivery board rounds\n
\nServe as Safety Officer on Labor & Delivery\n
\nCollaborate with community OB/GYN physicians and certified midwives\n
\nProvide practice coverage when clinically appropriate\n
\nEnsure quality, safety, and standardized care protocols\n
\nSchedule & Work Structure\n
\nPrimarily 24-hour shifts\n
\nSome 12-hour or mixed-shift models available\n
\nFull-time physicians typically work 5–9 (24-hour) shifts per 28-day block\n
\nFlexible scheduling structure\n
\nNo outpatient panel management\n
\nNo traditional office responsibilities\n
\n
\nBenefit eligibility begins with a commitment of five shifts per 28-day block.\n
