The Sterile Processor demonstrates good knowledge of aseptic techniques, equipment, instruments, procedures, and supplies used in the operating room. The role requires working under pressure, maintaining patience, tact, and endurance while providing ongoing communication with O.R. staff, notifying them of special equipment needs and monitoring the daily instrument schedule. Training, Education & Experience High School graduate or GED required. Effective verbal and written communication in English. Certification in Sterile Processing preferred.
