Service Advisor

Service Advisor We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Marine Service Advisor to join our team. The Marine Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, ensuring a smooth and efficient repair and maintenance process for all marine vessels. Key Responsibilities: Greet customers and assess their marine service and repair needs Write detailed service orders and communicate issues clearly to technicians Provide accurate estimates for repairs, maintenance, and parts Coordinate workflow between customers, technicians, and parts department Monitor job progress and keep customers informed of status updates Ensure timely completion of service work and follow up on any outstanding items Process invoices, explain charges, and handle payments Maintain strong customer relationships and deliver excellent customer service Uphold safety, quality, and environmental standards in all service operations Qualifications: Previous experience in marine service, automotive service advising, or a related field preferred Strong understanding of boats, engines, and marine systems (inboard, outboard, electrical, etc.) Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with service management software and basic computer skills Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required Technical or marine-related training is a plus 2+ years of service advisor or marine industry experience preferred Work Environment: Combination of office and marina/shop environment May require working weekends or extended hours during peak boating season OneWater Marine is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with ADA regulations as applicable.
