Salary Range: $59,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the fabrication department, ensuring production targets are met.
• Lead and mentor a team of fabricators, providing technical guidance and performance feedback.
• Ensure all fabrication activities adhere to safety protocols, quality standards, and production schedules.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to guide fabrication processes and material selection.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to fabrication equipment and processes.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize designs for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in metal fabrication, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of various fabrication techniques including welding (MIG, TIG, STICK), cutting (plasma, laser, saw), forming, and finishing.
• Demonstrated experience in leading, mentoring, and developing a team of skilled fabricators.
• Solid understanding of quality control processes and safety protocols within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in using relevant fabrication machinery and hand tools.
