Adjunct Massage Therapy Instructor

Responsibilities Teach certificate-only, credit or non-credit courses on varying schedules, utilizing technology and a variety of teaching methods. Provide quality supervision and instruction in the classroom setting. Demonstrate independence and discretion in teaching practice and student advising. Provide minimal supervision from the Academic Program Director. Coordinate classroom and related instructional activities. Establish good working relationships with alumni, businesses, students, faculty, and others in the college community. Interpret and apply all related laws. Teach in classroom and lab environments. Conduct local travel to businesses and community campuses; some short‑term travel may be required for professional meetings. Professional development may require overnight stays. Qualifications Licensed massage and body works therapist (LMT/LMBT) with a minimum of three (3) years documented work experience in the field. Clean criminal background check and valid driver’s license. Associate’s degree preferred but not required, or credentials or specialized documented training in the field of teaching. Knowledge of principles and procedures pertaining to higher education, especially teaching methodologies. Knowledge of standard business practices and accepted protocols for areas of responsibility.
