Project Manager, Construction

Project Managers have complete responsibility for project performance, customer satisfaction, and managing a project from start to completion WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU We are pleased to provide our associateswith a holistic compensation and benefits package which includes: Traditional and Roth 401k 1-month paid sabbatical after every five years of employment, plus $5,000 for travel Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage 100% paid parental leave A DAY IN THE LIFE Lead and coordinate all managerial and administrative aspects of project from the earliest stages of preconstruction through project closeout Work closely with clients and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings and project budget Participate in the proposal meeting with clients to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, provide value engineering ideas, and negotiate contracts & fees Oversee subcontractor selection and buyout process for all trades and vendors Identify and investigate opportunities to procure material and/or specialty equipment directly when advantageous to project budget or schedule Develop and review subcontractor scopes of work/contracts, project schedule, and site logistics plan Lead preconstruction planning meetings with all designers, subcontractors and vendors aimed at solving potential constructability, sequencing, and/or manpower issues Lead weekly/bi-weekly OAC meetings on-site once construction begins to review progress and address challenges directly with client Track and manage project performance vs budget; prepare owner pay applications, cost status, and progress billing reports Local travel to project sites within the Dallas is required NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS BS in Engineering,ConstructionManagement, or Business Administration 3-10 years' of construction management or engineering design experience Previous experience leading municipality and utility projects is preferred Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project MAKE YOUR MOVE S&B Services does not accept unsolicited resumes from third-party recruiting agencies.
