Electronics Repair Technician (Board-Level Troubleshooting & Soldering)
About the Role
We are hiring Electronics Repair Technicians to support the troubleshooting, repair, and testing of electronic assemblies and components in a high-tech manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for candidates with hands-on electronics experience looking to grow their technical skills in board-level diagnostics, soldering, and electronic repair.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with schematics, troubleshooting electronic devices, soldering/rework, and using electronic test equipment in a production or repair environment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic assemblies and circuit boards at the component level
- Perform board-level diagnostics, fault isolation, and signal tracing
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Perform through-hole and surface-mount soldering and rework
- Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and analyzers
- Conduct testing, validation, and repair verification
- Maintain accurate documentation and repair records
- Support continuous improvement and production quality initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical training or education in Electronics preferred
- Experience with electronics troubleshooting and repair
- Hands-on soldering experience (through-hole and SMT)
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
- Familiarity with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and electronic test equipment
- IPC or A+ certifications are a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
