Job Description

Madden Industrial Craftsmen, a premier staffing agency, is looking to fill a Brazer position with a manufacturing company located in Phoenix, AZ. The client specializes in custom heat exchanger coils, fluid coolers, and remote air-cooled condensers for OEM and replacement markets.

Pay Rate: $25 per hour
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Schedule: Monday?Friday, 1st Shift: 5:30-2PM; 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM ? 10:30 PM (mandatory overtime as needed)
Type: Temp-to-Hire

Brazer Responsibilities

• Perform brazing operations to join metal components according to production and quality standards.

• Interpret and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.

• Assemble and braze components using copper, brass, aluminum, or similar materials.

• Maintain consistent heat control to ensure strong, clean, and leak-free joints.

• Conduct visual inspections and basic quality checks on completed work.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2?3 years of brazing experience in a manufacturing or metalworking environment.

• Proficient in brazing techniques and torch operation.

• Ability to pass a hands-on brazing test.

• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and work instructions.

• Must be able to read a tape measure.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication skills and ability to follow precise instructions.

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
