We celebrate diversity and foster an inclusive environment, empowering our employees to be their authentic selves.## About the RoleFive9 is looking for a Senior Manager, Paid Media & Experimentation, to own our paid media engine and the experimentation program that keeps improving it. This role blends hands-on channel management — paid search, paid social, and programmatic — with a rigorous test-and-learn discipline across creative, offers, audiences, and landing pages. You'll manage agency and vendor relationships, partner closely with ABM and sales to turn paid programs into qualified pipeline, and build the testing roadmap that compounds performance over time. We're looking for someone who moves fast, tests constantly, and is comfortable both setting strategy and getting into the weeds of a campaign, always with an eye on how each program and each test moves the pipeline forward.## What You'll Do* Own paid media strategy, budget, and pipeline/SAO targets across paid search, paid social, and programmatic/display — reporting on performance from click to lead to opportunity to closed revenue, not just cost per lead or CTR.* Build and lead the experimentation roadmap: a structured testing agenda across creative, copy, offers, audiences, and landing pages, with clear hypotheses, success metrics, and readouts.* Manage paid search channels (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads), working closely with agency partners to optimize programs, improve cost efficiency, and generate quality pipeline.* Plan, launch, and manage paid social and programmatic/display campaigns across channels (LinkedIn and others) to drive demand and pipeline.* Own landing page and conversion path optimization (CRO), designing and running A/B and multivariate tests on page structure, forms, and messaging to lift conversion at every funnel stage.* Partner with campaign and creative teams to develop and test ad copy and creative that's engaging, conversion-focused, and resonates with our ideal customer profile (ICP).* Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors, setting clear goals, reviewing performance, and holding partners accountable to results.* Use AI tools to automate reporting, campaign builds, and testing analysis, freeing the team to spend more time on strategy and experimentation.* Partner closely with ABM and sales development to align paid programs with target account strategies, accelerate lead-to-opportunity conversion, and hit shared pipeline goals.* Analyze full-funnel paid media and test performance — from clicks and leads to sales opportunities and pipeline — turning results into a prioritized testing and optimization backlog.* Manage budget pacing and allocation across paid channels and agencies to maximize return on marketing spend.* Mentor and provide functional guidance to a paid media analyst or specialist, raising the bar on testing rigor and channel best practices.## What You Bring* 7+ years of paid media, performance marketing, or growth marketing experience, with a track record of owning budget and hitting pipeline or revenue targets, plus experience managing a person, program, or agency team.* A pipeline-first mindset: you measure paid programs by the sales opportunities and revenue they generate, not just leads or CTR, and you partner with sales to prove it.* A rigorous experimentation mindset, with hands-on comfort designing, running, and interpreting A/B and multivariate tests.* Deep hands-on expertise running SEM, paid social, and programmatic/display campaigns at scale.* Experience managing external agencies or vendor relationships, including setting KPIs and holding partners accountable.* A creative, curious mindset, with hands-on comfort using AI tools to automate workflows and speed up testing analysis.* Experience building or optimizing landing pages and conversion funnels, with working knowledge of CRO principles and tooling.* Working knowledge of account-based marketing (ABM) strategy and execution.* Strong analytical skills and comfort working in marketing analytics or attribution tools.* Experience with digital experience analytics (DXA) platforms (e.g., Contentsquare or similar) to diagnose friction, uncover test hypotheses, and validate impact beyond standard funnel metrics.* A bias for speed, comfortable making decisions with imperfect data and iterating quickly.## Platforms & Tools* Salesforce* Google Ads* LinkedIn Campaign Manager* Microsoft/Bing Ads* Project management tools (Asana, Monday.com)* Reporting: Google Analytics and Looker* Claude and AI tools* A/B testing & CRO tools (e.g., Optimizely, VWO)* Digital experience analytics (DXA) tools (e.g., Contentsquare)## Nice to Have* B2B SaaS or technology marketing background.* Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo).* Familiarity with 6sense or other ABM and intent-data platforms.* Experience with programmatic/DSP platforms (e.g., The Trade Desk).Work Location: This role is fully remote for candidates who reside outside the 30 mile radius of one of our offices.
