X-Ray Technologist

Shift Information

The position offers varied shifts with an average of 3 days of call per month. There are no guarantees of hours or time requested off.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of independent experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist.

Certifications and Licensure

• General Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer is required upon acceptance of the offer.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification is mandatory.

Job Description

The X-Ray Technologist will be responsible for operating various radiographic equipment, including but not limited to:

• DR fixed equipment
• DR fluoro equipment
• C-arms
• Portable DR equipment

Maintaining knowledge and proficiency in radiation safety and protocols is essential. The technologist must have experience with Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Epic EMR is preferred.

General Requirements

• Ability to function independently without supervision.
• Must have a dosimetry badge.
• Experience with radiation safety protocols.

Additional Information

Travelers are required to arrive on the island the Friday prior to the Monday start for HR/EH clearance appointments. No requests for time off will be granted during the first 13 weeks of the contract.
