Manager, Finance

Position Title: Finance Manager, North America FP&ALocation: Dallas, TX / Boston, MA The role The Finance Manager is a high-impact leader within the North America Finance team. This role is responsible for providing financial analysis and insights to drive tactical and strategic decision making, preparation and execution of the annual budget, quarterly reforecasting, long-range planning, and ad-hoc statistical analysis. You will be charged with consolidating financial information, performing analysis and relaying it back to our business partners, including senior and executive leadership. What you’ll doDevelop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiativesPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsConduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performanceCoordinate forecasting and budgeting processes across the Portfolio Management Group and OperationsPartner with other departments to provide financial and statistical insights and support decision-makingCollaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and initiativesPerform ad hoc statistical analysis to support key business decisionsWork with the FP&A team to develop a world-class budgeting and forecasting approach, including but not limited to: communication, calendar management, input templates, analysis, reporting, transparency, and accuracy.What you’ll needA Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a similar field5+ years of experience in a senior financial analyst role or similar professional experiencePrior experience working with and/or maintaining financial modelsA strong understanding of and ability to create financial reports and analysesA true entrepreneurial spirit is valuable in this role as you’ll be expected to provide your ideas, be ready in driving the function, and have a hand in creating processes and proceduresThe ability to think strategically, to work with data and numbers, and to provide thoughtful, detailed analysisA cooperative spirit and the ability to collaborate with teams across the organizationA high degree of comfort with technology, including the ability to learn new software and systems quickly and to work through technical issues (e.g. Oracle Essbase, PowerBI)Very strong skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CoPilotA bit about usDigital Realty brings companies and data together by delivering the full spectrum of data center, colocation and interconnection solutions.
