Registered Staff Nurse - Pain Management ASC

$32.67 - $49.01 per hour

Registered Nurse – Naperville Pain Management ASC Full‑time, 40 hours per week; 4 × 10‑hour days. Monday–Friday (rotating day off); 7:00am–5:00pm. Location: Naperville, IL. Responsibilities Escort patients to and from exam rooms, ready them for physicians; take vital signs, record medical history/symptoms, ensure medical chart/lab test results are available and complete. Perform telephone triage, patient education, handling of physician phone calls, pharmacy calls; assist in setting appointments or arranging hospital tests or admissions. Administer immunizations and minor treatments as prescribed; record and document all activities in the chart. Assist physician with procedures as necessary (lead apron required); assist with procedures including patients with conscious sedation. Respond to patient questions and concerns as liaison between physician and patient. Report all test results to the patient as directed by the physician. Utilize current nursing practices to provide patient care while focusing on the needs of the patient and exemplifying service excellence, care, concern, respect, and cooperation. Qualifications Current Illinois RN licensure. Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Current BLS certification required; ACLS required but can be obtained within 3 months of hire. Prefer a minimum of one year of professional nursing experience in a clinical or hospital setting; may consider new graduates under specific circumstances. Compensation Base pay range: $32.67–$49.01 per hour. Pay determined by skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is part of a total rewards package. #J-18808-Ljbffr
