Take your Emergency Room expertise to one of New York's busiest Trauma Level II Emergency Departments! We're seeking experienced ER Registered Nurses who thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. If you're confident managing critical patients, trauma cases, and diverse emergency presentations, this 13-week travel assignment is for you.

Position Details:

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

• Location: Bronx, NY

• Assignment Length: 13 Weeks

• Shift: 12-Hour Nights

• Guaranteed Hours: 34.5 hours per week

Requirements:

• Active NY RN License

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience

• Previous triage experience required

• Experience titrating critical care drips

• Comfortable providing conscious sedation for bedside procedures and pain management

• Experience caring for both adult and pediatric emergency patients

• Previous trauma experience preferred

• First-time travelers considered with comparable inner-city or metropolitan Emergency Department experience

• Flexibility to work weekends and varying schedules based on department needs

• Limited or no Requested Time Off (RTO) preferred during the assignment

Required Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

• Minimum of 8 hours of stroke education

• TNCC preferred
