Core duties include analyzing workflows, conducting time studies, and designing facility layouts. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting and executing initiatives that enhance cost control, boost productivity, and ensure safety. This is a remote position; however, we strongly prefer candidates who reside near one of our locations and can attend on-site meetings, plant visits, and collaborative sessions as needed.Roles and ResponsibilitiesAnalyze existing workflows, production schedules, and processes to find inefficienciesWork with the Project Manager, contractors, local operations staff, and/or suppliers on new equipment supply, installation & upgrades, as well as improvements on older equipmentDesign efficient floor plans and facility layouts using CAD or simulation softwareConduct time and motion studies to establish accurate labor standardsImplement Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement (Six Sigma) initiatives to reduce wasteCollaborate with cross-functional teams and management to present data-driven recommendationsEvaluate equipment performance and collaborate with maintenance teams to improve machine reliability and reduce downtimeAll other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without noticeRequirementsBachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including building design, plant layout development, workflow optimization, and operational supportProficiency in tools like AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and process simulation softwareStrong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologiesExcellent problem-solving, data analysis, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyStrong organizational and project management skillsAbility to travel is a must; approximately 50% travel is expectedSalary: $116,931 - $175,397 annually plus bonus.
