Employer: Old Blue, LLC Shift Manager Immediate Supervisor: General Manager, Assistant Manager Status: Hourly Non-Exempt, Full-time employee Shift Manager oversees daily Drive-In operations, trains and supports staff to ensure an efficient, clean, safe, and high-quality customer experience. Essential Job Duties Manages, trains, monitors and coaches crew members, carhops, and skating carhops Directs and assigns Drive‑In employees as needed to ensure service meets operational standards Adheres to and monitors employee compliance with the Drive‑In employee handbook, policies, and practices Performs opening and/or closing duties Monitors and adjusts staffing levels, inventory levels and food cost control Completes weekly inventory as needed Assists in administrative duties, including maintaining files, records and required documentation Reinforces a customer‑service mentality and ensures all employees focus on serving customers at all times Immediately and respectfully responds to guest requests, reports complaints to supervisor and assists in resolving complaints Qualifications Friendly and smiling faces that enjoy providing courteous service to guests Professional individuals who value people and demonstrate respect for others Team player willing to meet and exceed Drive‑In goals and objectives Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and lead a team Proven track record of building sales, creative marketing, expense management and developing people into successful teams Additional Requirements Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays Expected 30–50 hours per week (not guaranteed) General knowledge and understanding of restaurant industry or retail operations required Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry‑level retail management experience; experience running shifts without supervision Effective communication skills; basic math, reading and computer skills Ability to follow directions and work autonomously once given directions; ability to multi‑task and solve problems Willingness to abide by appearance, uniform and hygiene standards at SONIC Night Shift Manager Immediate Supervisor: General Manager, Assistant Manager Status: Hourly Non-Exempt, Full‑time employee Manages and leads all aspects of evening business; responsible for training, coaching and development of crew; for providing quality food in a clean, safe and positive environment; and for delivering operations consistency and great guest experience. Essential Job Duties Leads evening Drive‑In execution, driving increased sales and customer measures Leads, coaches, trains and develops crew members, carhops and associate shift leaders Manages Drive‑In operations for dinner and late‑night business, performs closing duties Directs and assigns Drive‑In employees to ensure all aspects of service standards are delivered Options to write PM schedule if needed and proactively manages labour, based on sales and projections Enforces Food Safety Audit Checklist compliance and maintains food cost control during evening business Monitors and maintains inventory levels; places orders for food and paper within cost control procedures Implements safety & security measures during every shift Monitors employee compliance of the Drive‑In Employee Handbook policies and procedures Leads pre‑shift meetings, reviews goals and ensures employees are focused on great guest service Immediately and respectfully resolves guest requests; reports complaints to supervisor Immediately and respectfully resolves employee concerns, complying with company policy Works with General Manager to interview and hire crew and management team members Assists with performance appraisal completion for night crew Leads a great work environment for all employees and guests, every shift Additional Requirements Required to work 40–50 hour work week, 5 nights per week, 8–10 hours per shift Leadership and supervisory practices and skills; effective verbal and written communication skills Problem solving, decision‑making and conflict resolution skills Ability to multi‑task, follow directions and lead with autonomy once given directions Time management, organizational and basic accounting and computer skills Knowledge and experience with recruiting, interviewing and selection practices Complies with SONIC Drive‑In policies, procedures and all federal and state laws and regulations Willingness to abide by appearance, uniform and hygiene standards at SONIC Minimum of one year restaurant management experience (QSR preferred), leading shifts without supervision High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced studies in business, restaurant management preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
