About the Role
The Company is seeking a visionary and strategic Dean for its College of Health Professions. The Dean will be the chief academic and administrative leader, responsible for overseeing academic programs, budget management, accreditation, faculty development, strategic planning, and external partnerships. This role is pivotal in advancing the institution's mission to improve community health through education, research, and patient care. The successful candidate will be tasked with shaping a bold, forward-looking vision, championing innovation, and enhancing academic distinction. A significant expectation is the continued development of a faculty of distinction, upholding high standards, and supporting faculty in teaching, clinical practice, research, and scholarly activity. The Dean will also be the principal advocate for the College, fostering strong relationships with academic leaders, professional associations, and philanthropic partners. The ideal candidate for the Dean position at the company's College of Health Professions will have a terminal degree, a distinguished academic record, and deep leadership experience in health professions education. A commitment to diversity, collaboration, and inclusive excellence is essential. The role requires a transformational leader who is strategic, innovative, communicative, and grounded in integrity, capable of inspiring faculty, staff, students, and partners. The Dean will be expected to work towards elevating the College's national profile, expanding enrollment, and strengthening revenue. Additionally, the Dean will focus on enhancing research productivity and securing greater sponsored funding, as well as strengthening clinical and community partnerships that are vital for student training and workforce development.
