Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students’ communication and learning needs in an educational environment near Dearborn, MI. This full-time role runs from August 24, 2026, to June 16, 2027, offering a structured Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30am to 3:30pm, with an unpaid 30-minute lunch break. You’ll have the chance to make a meaningful difference throughout the academic year, working alongside educators and families to foster positive student growth.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Valid SLP license in Michigan
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience working in school settings is a plus
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions
• Dedication to student-centered care and inclusive practices

Responsibilities:

• Assess and identify students’ speech, language, and communication challenges
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for eligible students
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services, both individual and group
• Document progress, maintain records, and report on student outcomes
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
• Stay informed about best practices and comply with all school and state guidelines
