Branch Operations Manager, Floorcovering

Branch Operations Manager – Sherwin-Williams floorcovering branch. The Branch Operations Manager works with the Branch Manager to organize, plan, and implement strategies to support all aspects of branch operations, including customer service, marketing, merchandising, inventory, finances, and safety. The role includes supervising and training staff, contacting customers to generate sales leads, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Working Hours and Compensation The position is 44 hours per week, may include evenings and weekends. The role offers a bonus based on performance and is eligible for health benefits, medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, disability coverage, security, retirement, and savings benefits. Additional benefits include paid leave, vacation, and holidays. Responsibilities Support business strategies to increase sales and optimize profitability. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service. Build and maintain product knowledge to provide effective recommendations. Build positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers. Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures, including safety, loss prevention, and security. Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards. Support employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action. Respond to and resolve customer and employee complaints. Partner with Store Manager to make outside sales calls to increase market share. Qualifications Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship. Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license. Must have at least a high school diploma or GED. Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion. Preferred Qualifications At least one year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service, or completion of Sherwin-Williams Management Training Program. At least one year of experience in a leadership role, supervising others, or leading teams. Previous experience selling floorcovering products. Experience using timekeeping and/or customer relationship management (CRM) systems. Associate’s degree or higher in business, sales, or marketing. Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities. Proficiency in more than one language. Proficiency in Spanish. Additional Requirements Job duties involve contact with customers, including minors, and access to cash, electronic equipment, and store merchandise.
