Castle Hill Inn is looking for a Breakfast Server to join the team. Nestled on 40 acres overlooking the southwestern corner of Narragansett Bay, Castle Hill Inn a Relais & Chateaux hotel is a coastal haven where guests come to relax and rejuvenate against a spectacular New England backdrop, a location that is second to none. The property features guest rooms that are perched on the sand dunes of our private beach, a banquet facility, and two restaurants featuring the talents of the culinary team. In the Breakfast Server role, you will provide full table service and room service for overnight guests of the Inn during the breakfast meal period. You are energetic, highly motivated, and have a passion for hospitality where pleasing our guests comes naturally. You are able to work in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent multitasking skills, and are willing to work as part of a team.

Essential duties include presenting menu, answering questions, and making suggestions regarding food and service; preparing dining room(s) for service; preparing kitchen & work stations for service; relaying orders to kitchen and serving courses from kitchen/service bars; observing diners to respond to any additional requests; totaling bills and accepting payments; and maintaining composure and hospitality nature with guests and other staff.

Qualifications include minimum of 2 years of previous fine dining server experience preferred, flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed, and holding Alcohol Safety Certification. Skills & abilities include being able to stand for long periods of time, ability to lift and move 25-50 pounds, and being collaborative, using a team approach to creating an equitable workplace environment and having respectful working relationships.
