OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Cedar Rapids, IA by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Drive nationwide dry-van lanes from Cedar Rapids, IA for a company that values safety and driver support. Expect to operate modern tractors (under 3 years) fitted with sleepers, APUs and inverters, with in-house maintenance to keep you rolling. Weekly averages are around 2,500 miles; pay starts at 65 CPM with bonuses for safe driving, inspections and referrals.

What you’ll do:

• Safely transport dry-van freight across regional and long-haul routes.
• Maintain clean inspections and accurate paperwork.
• Work with dispatch to meet schedules and delivery requirements.

Applicants must hold a CDL-A and have a minimum of 12 months verifiable experience. Home every two weeks; full benefits include health, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k).
