• The selected Business Analyst will receive guidance and onboarding to become familiar with the client's existing systems and processes, including Yardi, Snowflake, and Investran . Success in the role will be measured by completion of planned testing, accurate report rebuilds, successful cross-system reconciliation, minimal defects at go-live, and complete business validation/sign-offs.

Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support business testing, validation, reporting, and data reconciliation activities for a project transitioning from a Yardi-based reporting environment to a Snowflake-driven reporting platform .

The Business Analyst will work closely with business and technology teams to develop and execute test cases, rebuild and validate reports, analyze existing reporting logic, perform data validation and reconciliation across Yardi, Investran, and Snowflake , manage defects, and support business sign-offs to ensure a successful go-live with minimal defects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• SQL Mandatory
• Python Mandatory , particularly for data validation and automation.
• Hands-on experience with UAT planning, test case creation, test execution, and defect management .
• Strong experience with data validation and reconciliation across multiple systems .
• Experience reverse engineering reports , understanding reporting logic, and defining KPIs.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills; advanced Excel proficiency is highly preferred.
• Exposure to Snowflake is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with code-based BI tools such as Streamlit is preferred.
• Experience building or supporting BI solutions using Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of fund accounting , including General Ledger (GL), Trial Balance (TB), Chart of Accounts (COA), and financial reporting .
• Experience working with Yardi and/or Investran is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate and work with both business and technology teams.
