• Positive, patient, and resourceful approach with students of varying abilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver tailored lesson plans that accommodate individual education plans (IEPs)
• Track and report on student progress using data-driven methods
• Create a welcoming, inclusive classroom that encourages student engagement and self-advocacy
• Partner with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student goals
• Employ a variety of instructional, behavioral, and assistive strategies to help students succeed
• Attend professional development sessions and participate in school-wide events as needed
