Summary:

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining Teachers server and storage environments. This role will adhere to industry best practices and support the organizations policies to ensure a resilient infrastructure.

Education and/or Experience:

• B.S. or B.A. in Information Technology/IT-related field or a minimum of eight years directly related experience required
• Minimum three years' experience working in an information technology or networking related field required.
• Financial institution experience preferred.
• Industry certifications CompTIA A+, CompTIA Server+, MTA, MCSA or above preferred.
• Outstanding diagnostic, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize projects.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
• Hands-on experience with common enterprise software and hardware.
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop Administration preferred
• Knowledge of hybrid Datacenter architecture preferred

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists with the daily administration within Teachers infrastructure
• Monitors system performance
• Ensures that records of system downtime and equipment inventory are properly maintained
• Scopes, researches, and implements additional hardware solutions for Teachers growth.
• Establishes, maintains, and supports Teachers critical infrastructure including but not limited to the following:
• • Active Directory
  • Fileserver
  • Disaster Recovery
  • Virtual Machines
  • Backup Solutions
  • Storage Systems
  • Certificate Authority
• Access control responsibilities including user provisioning and removal.
• Documents and maintains processes, procedures, and tasks
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
• Adheres to the Information Technology/Information Security training plan. Instructs and guides end users on security policies, procedures and best practices.
• Engages with direct supervisor upon discovery of any possible information security risks with any new or existing systems and initiatives.
• Takes necessary action to ensure risk to confidentiality, integrity and availability of data is not increased
• *Performs other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor

The good faith range for this position is $32.00 - 38.50 per hour. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
